Parties

The Big Backyard is the perfect place to host a birthday party for children. The kids will have a SUPER FUN time and you won’t have to clean up or set up before or after the party!

Parties are available during our open play hours and after open play hours Monday – Friday, as well as any time Saturday and Sunday.  The Weekday rates below are available Monday – Friday and are available outside of our open play hours. Hold your party during the week to receive a discounted rate. The facility will be open to the public during our open play hours.  Private parties will be closed to the public.  Weekend rates are available all day Saturday and Sunday.

Parties include:

  • 2 hours of party room and playroom time with option to purchase more time
  • Dedicated party host for room set up and clean up
  • Electronic invitations
  • Option to purchase pizzas, hot dogs, pretzel bites, nachos, mac n cheese, chicken nuggets, Smiley Fries, cookies, assorted snacks and assorted drinks

Petite Party

Bring 10 or less children, all items listed above and a private party room, that comfortably holds 20-25 guests to enjoy all The Big Backyard has to offer.

Standard Party

Have loads of fun with a bigger group of up to 17 children, all items listed above and a private party room that comfortably holds 25-30 guests to enjoy all The Big Backyard has to offer.

 Grand Party

Bring the whole gang of up to 24 children, all items listed above and a private party room, that comfortably holds 30-35 guests for a fantastic time.

Private Party

Reserve our entire facility for a large group or family party or special event!  Private parties are closed to the public, only your guests will be allowed into the building.  Private parties are able to utilize our entire snack counter and picnic table area for decorations, food and drinks.  You may have up to 60 guests. If going over 60 guests a second party host fee will be applied at a rate of $50 for a two-hour party and $75 for a three-hour party.  Private parties are not available during open play hours.

Party Rules & Regulations
A $50 ($100 for private parties) non-refundable deposit is required.  Deposit goes towards final total.  Party bookings are on a first come first serve basis.  No party will be held until deposit is received.

Weekday: Monday – Friday

Weekend: Saturday – Sunday

Cancellation Policy

Any party cancelled within two weeks of the reserved date will be offered to re-schedule. If party is not re-scheduled the balance in full will be due.

Other parties may be booked at the same time as your party unless you book a private party. Private parties are not available during open play hours.

If the final number of children exceeds the package, you will be upgraded to the price of the corresponding party package. The larger corresponding party room may not be available in the instance of an upgraded party due to other parties being booked at the same time.  Party packages and rooms cannot be downsized if less children attend than your chosen party package. Children under one are not included in total. The party rooms are unable to safely accommodate more than 25 children. A $75 fine will be incurred if exceeding the maximum.

Private parties are for up to 60 guests (total number of adults and children). If you are expecting more than or exceed 60 guests, there will be an additional $50 service charge for a two hour party and a $75 charge for a three hour party.

You may not arrive more than 15 minutes before your party is scheduled to start as the room will not be ready for you nor will we have a party host available to you. There will be a late fee of $25 ($50 for private parties) for every 15 minutes beyond the scheduled end time.

Outside food and beverages are permitted for parties. However, food and beverages must stay in the party rooms unless you have reserved a private party. No alcohol allowed.

Please note that we do not allow gel food warmers, flame food warmers, piñatas, confetti, balloons with confetti inside, glitter, pinatas, silly-string, or non-weighted balloons. Any room left in extreme disarray or left damaged will be charged a mandatory fee of $50.

Child guests must have a parental signature on the liability waiver and must follow all of the posted rules. Parents are responsible for their children and the children attending their party. Both children and adults are required to wear socks to enter the play area. A $50 cleaning fee will be charged for parties whose guests do not comply with the socks only policy.

The balance is due on the day of the party and can be paid by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Debit or cash. Personal checks are not accepted. Prices are subject to sales tax.
